Course description

Course overview

This silkscreen printing short course is a face-to-face short course designed for beginners and those with some prior experience who want to develop a strong foundation in screen printing. Taught in a studio environment at Central Saint Martins, this course provides hands-on instruction in a range of techniques, from fundamental paper stencils to advanced full-colour digital and photographic screen prints.

This course develops a successful and confident working knowledge of this print process. It is supported by one-to-one tuition, in a well-run and established studio. This is a creative course that embraces experimentation, and celebrates the unexpected and unforeseen, in printed matter whilst laying down the foundations for solid printmaking. A choice of substrates is on offer from paper to textiles. Come with personal ideas and projects or simply with an enquiring mind.
