Biography
Natalie Nestorowicz is an experienced research funding specialist and project manager with a strong track record in securing and managing competitive research grants. She has worked at leading UK universities, including UCL, the University of Sheffield, and Queen Mary University of London, supporting the full research and innovation funding lifecycle.
Specialising in EU and UK funding, particularly Horizon Europe and Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs), she has expertise in identifying opportunities, developing proposals, negotiating contracts, and overseeing post-award administration. She has played a key role in enabling impactful research by guiding academics and industry partners through complex funding landscapes.
Passionate about translating research into real-world impact, Natalie supports initiatives that drive innovation and foster collaboration between academia and industry. At the Fashion, Textiles & Technology Institute (FTTI), she focuses on securing R&D funding and strengthening industry partnerships to advance research and innovation in the sector.
