Join us for this fireside chat and gain inside knowledge on working in the fashion industry and network with fellow LCF students and alumni.

This session is only for London College of Fashion students and graduates. It is aligned to your Graduate Futures careers and employability journey.

This intimate in-person event will allow soon-to-be graduates and former students the opportunity to network and gain valuable information from key leaders in the fashion industry.

You’ll hear the most up to date job market insights first-hand, enabling you to excel crafting your career goals during your final months at university and aims to increase your overall awareness of what it takes to navigate and succeed in fashion and the creative industries from experts who have been on your career trajectory.


Speakers

  • Melanie Mitchell, Graduate Futures Careers Consultant:Leveraging over 30 years of experience as a Buyer, Headhunter and now Consultant, Melanie has worked with a number of brands including Christian Louboutin, Vivienne Westwood, AllSaints, Threads Styling and Sweaty Betty on projects relating to talent acquisition and executive search. Passionate about helping to build both brands and careers through putting the right people, in the right place at the right time she continues to use her industry expertise to coach and inspire the next generation looking to pursue careers in fashion.
  • Amy Pressman, Talent Acquisition Partner at M&S:Supporting the Clothing, Home & Beauty business in attracting and developing exceptional talent. Amy brings extensive experience from her time as a Senior Consultant in Buying & Merchandising at Elite Associates, along with senior buying roles at DCK, River Island, and Arcadia. M&S is a business known for quality, driven by innovation, and an obsession with its customers. Amy plays a key role in raising the bar, building inclusive teams, and connecting people who thrive in fast-paced, purpose-led environments. Passionate about shaping the future of retail, she helps ensure M&S continues to deliver with impact for its customers, colleagues, and communities.
