UAL Awarding Body announces partnership with UK Music

We are very pleased to announce that UAL Awarding Body has been accepted as a member of UK Music MAP (Music Academic Partnership).

As well as a voice to support and represent music education at a schools and FE level. It is a testament to the standard of our courses to be the only awarding body currently accepted as a member.”

UK Music is the collective voice of the UK’s world-leading music industry. We represent all sectors of our industry – bringing them together to collaborate, campaign, and champion music.

Music Education Partnership (MAP) is a ground-breaking collaboration between educational institutions and the membership of UK Music. Its focus is on linking industry and academia more effectively to: nurture collaborative projects such as research and careers events; inform and engage with the next generation of industry professionals; develop expert knowledge-base to feed into education & skills policy work, and; provide individuals who want to build careers out of their passion for music with extra opportunities.

The members of UK Music are: AIM, BPI, FAC, The Ivors Academy, MMF, MPA, MPG, MU, PPL, PRS for Music. UK Music also has an informal association with LIVE (Live music Industry Venues & Entertainment).
