Celebrating LCF Undergraduate Class of 2023 with week-long festival programme

LCF are excited to celebrate the undergraduate class of 2023 with a festival of events spanning five days. For the very first time, LCF’s annual bustling showcase will spotlight courses with special hybrid and live moments allowing visitors an unparalleled glimpse into the future of fashion through design, film, photography, VR and more. This year’s show will feature work from LCF’s three world-leading design, communications and business schools, demonstrating how LCF students look beyond the traditional notions of fashion to imagine a new and exciting future.

Monday 10 July 

7pm – 7.45pm: Catwalk (live stream)

  • Watch a live-stream of our BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology: Menswear and BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology: Womenswear catwalk show here.

*Please note there is no public access to LCF23 on Monday 10 July. 

Tuesday 11 July

10am – 3pm: Open Studio

  • Witness the future of fashion in action during an open studio session where 170 different looks from BA (Hons) Fashion Design and Development will be filmed live in front of audiences and broadcast within the event space.

4pm – 5.30pm: Contour Salon Show

  • A live salon show featuring the intricate designs of BA (Hons) Fashion Contour ranging across lingerie, intimate apparel, underwear, swimwear and structured bodywear.

6pm – 7pm: Tailoring Salon Show

  • A live salon show featuring the work of BA (Hons) Bespoke Tailoring, the only course of its kind in Europe, and a reflection of how LCF students embody the heritage and craftsmanship of this iconic London trade while also redefining its future.

Thursday 13 July

6pm – 8pm: Exhibition Spotlight 

  • Objects and pieces from BA (Hons) Cordwainers Footwear, BA (Hons) Cordwainers Fashion Bags and Accessories, BA (Hones) Fashion Jewellery and BA (Hons) Fashion Textiles (Embroidery, Knit and Print) will be celebrated in this special evening exhibition event spotlighting these courses through displays, photography, film and more.

Friday 14 July

10am – 1pm: Fashion Business Breakfast

  • Join us bright and early for this breakfast event featuring the work from LCF’s undergraduate Fashion Business School courses. Did you know that LCF is the only fashion school in the world with a dedicated business school? Find out all about it and more at this morning of discussions, demos and, of course, delicious refreshments.

1pm – 2pm: Sportswear Screening

  • Experience never-before-seen documentaries featuring the cutting-edge work of BA (Hons) Fashion Sportswear ranging from the functional to the fashion-focused.

3pm – 4pm: Grad Dip Presentation

  • This immersive presentation will give you an up-close look at the work from Graduate Diploma Fashion Design Technology; a one-year intensive course with experimentation at its heart. Expect demonstrations, films and print.

5pm – 6.30pm: Pattern Cutting Screening

  • Grab a front row seat for a digital catwalk show featuring cutting-edge skill, traditional craft practice and the latest digital technologies through the work of BA (Hons) Fashion Pattern Cutting.

Saturday 15 July

11am – 1pm: Fashion Media Spotlight

  • An event spotlighting the work of BA (Hons) Hair and Make-up for Fashion, BA (Hons) Fashion Imaging and Illustration and BA (Hons) Fashion Styling and Production through multi-media moments, live demos and more.

2pm – 3pm: Fashion Media Spotlight

  • Get up close and personal with the work from BA (Hons) Fashion Photography, and experience the future of the industry through the work of innovative fashion image makers of tomorrow.

3pm – 4pm:  Fashion Communication Spotlight

  • BA (Hons) Creative Direction for Fashion challenges the intersection between fashion, communication and divergent practices. Projects featured in this event will demonstrate discipline informed by robust propositions with compelling creative vision, communication design, strategy and criticality at their core.

4pm – 5pm: Fashion Communication Spotlight

  • Immerse yourself in the fast-paced future of fashion media through films, images, magazines and displays from BA (Hons) Fashion Journalism and Content Creation, BA (Hons) Fashion Public Relations and Communications and BA (Hons) Critical Practice in Fashion Media.

5.30pm – 8pm: Performance Spotlight

  • Our festival programme ends with a spotlight on our performance courses! Visit to discover work by BA (Hons) Hair, Make-up and Prosthetics for Performance, BA (Hons) 3D Effects for Performance and BA (Hons) Costume Design for Performance through live moments featuring costumes, prosthetics, special effects and film.
