LCF story: BA (Hons) Critical Practice in Fashion Media students gain an insight into one of the world’s largest second-hand textile markets in Accra, Ghana.

We teach our students a combination of heritage and radical thinking. Traditional craftsmanship sits alongside new technologies to ensure our graduates have the skills necessary to bring their ideas to life and succeed in their careers. The School of Design and Technology is a space for creative exploration working with traditional craft and new technologies to allow for meaningful change within fashion. Through a shared understanding of the body as a creative site, our School of Media and Communication works to shape the future of fashion media, communication and performance.
