Biography

I am a theorist and research director working across society, technology, and politics.

Alongside my role as an Associate Lecturer, I am in leadership of Sym, a think-tank for political narrative, and a fellow at the Weibel Institute for Digital Cultures at Die Angewandte (Vienna). My independent research explores 'applied xenofeminism' and develops models for understanding subjectivity in the post-platform age.

I have presented work internationally, including at transmediale (Berlin), Creamcake (Berlin), Frac île-de-france (Paris), Espace Niemeyer (Paris), and Somerset House (London). Previous institutional collaborations include Singapore Art Museum, Power Station of Art, Julia Stoschek Collection, Rennie Museum, and Nationalgalerie. You can find my writing in WIRED, Dazed, Spike, and Vogue, among others. In 2021, Zero Books published Small Gods, my book on how counter-narratives around emergent technologies, such as unmanned aerial vehicles, are developed and circulated through visual culture. I hold an MA in Critical Writing from the Royal College of Art.
