Biography

My practice is centred around an intricate and intuitive understanding of textiles on which my brand and consultancy. My womenswear infuses unique fabrications of knitted material with his innovative signature cord-work.

Based in North London my atelier pushes the possibilities of knitwear, producing collections seasonally alongside creating bespoke showpieces for film, editorial and exhibitions.

I have exhibited my work internationally including taking part in fashion weeks in China, Indonesia, London, and Paris.  My work has been featured in a wide range of international press including Vogue, Italian Vogue, Dazed & Confused, The Telegraph, Irish Times, Elle, Textile View and 125 Magazine.

My interest in exploring the crossover between art and design has led me to collaborate with artists and illustrators, including Alec Strang and Isobel Shirley. My garments have also appeared in publications such as ‘Knitwear: An Introduction to Contemporary Design by Julianna Sissons’ and ‘Knitwear Design by Carol Brown’.

As part of my commitment to exploring the possibilities of the industry, I provide a design and textile consultancy service for designers, brands and corporate clients. Consultancy services include fabric and product development.

Clients have included Marimekko, Nina Skarra, Costume design Alexandra Byrne as well as luxury design house 1508 London.
I have also collaborated with fashion brands Natalie B Coleman, Jayne Pierson and Ethologie by Jasper Garvida.
