I am a Greek-British architect, urban designer, and researcher specialising in spatial analytics and computational urban planning. Currently, I work as a Senior Urban Data Analyst at HLM Architects, where I focus on urban regeneration, strategic estate assessment, enhancing the social value and sustainability of places through data-driven design.
I hold a Diploma in Architecture from the National Technical University of Athens, a Master of Advanced Studies in Urban Design from ETH Zurich, and an MRes and PhD in Architecture and Urban Computation from UCL. My PhD, funded by the UK’s EPSRC, investigated how urban form—particularly street networks and housing—adapts over time and influences density, accessibility, and land use.
Alongside my work, I teach as an Associate Lecturer at UAL Central Saint Martins, where I contribute with teaching, technical workshops, thesis supervisions, and PhD examinations. Previously, I have held roles at the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, Grimshaw Architects, and Theatrum Mundi, and taught at UCL Bartlett, Cardiff University, University for the Creative Arts, CANactions School, and the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia. I’ve been a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK since 2017.
My work spans urban morphology, data analytics and visualisation, housing, informality, transdisciplinary research methods and urban cultures. I have been a committee member of international conferences, and my work has been exhibited at MoMA, MAR in Rio de Janeiro, and the biennales of São Paulo, Venice, and Chile. In 2017, I was a Fellow of the European Future Architecture Platform.
