I am an independent researcher, writer, and organizer focused on the making of public life in cities, particularly Paris, London, and Marseille. With training in music from Goldsmiths College and urban theory from the UCL Bartlett School of Architecture, my work engages critical spatial humanities and performative methods to explore how climate adaptation strategies are transforming the cultures and politics of the urban public sphere. I have engagements across multiple pedagogical and research spaces: Associate Lecturer at CSM MA Cities; Head of Critical Writing at the Paris School of Architecture; researcher for the SONCITIES project at Oxford University; associated researcher at the Laboratoire Architecture Ville Urbanisme Environnement (Paris Nanterre). I also co-direct the research platform Theatrum Mundi, focusing on European collaboration projects. I’ve recently held individual fellowships at the Camargo Foundation in Aix-Marseille, and the University of London Institute in Paris, and published with the Avery Review and Architectural Review.
