KC is an Industrial Designer with a forte in Front-end Innovation, Technology design, Consumer Electronics, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Transportation design & Visualisations. He was the Design Lead at Seymourpowell for a decade and has also led a design team at the General Electric/Fitch Asia Design Studios (Singapore, Shanghai & Taipei) as a Senior Industrial Design Consultant for almost nine years.
He gained his MA from the Royal College of Art in London in 2006 and also received a Diploma with Merit from the Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore in 1993. His design work has been published by Thames and Hudson, Fast Company, DA&D and also his research projects has been exhibited at the Voegele Kultur Zentrum in Switzerland and Science Museum in London. He has spoken around the world at conferences including Nvidia's GPU Technology Conference in San Jose and UCLA Digital Media in Los Angeles.
The products that he designed has won D&AD, Fast Company Innovation By Design & iF Design Awards. He also holds six active product design patents in the areas of transport technology systems, mass produced structural packaging products, fashion inspired digital displays reduced-risk and behavioural science-led products.
