Inside the Archive: The Isabella Blow Collection

After her untimely death in 2007, Isabella Blow left behind a large and eclectic wardrobe. In 2010, The Honourable Daphne Guinness purchased the entire collection, saving it from being broken up at auction. The collection has since undergone meticulous archiving and conservation in preparation for the Isabella Blow: Fashion Galore! exhibition.This panel discussion looks at the process behind preparing the Isabella Blow Collection for the purposes of exhibiting, and the difficult task of preserving the histories imbued into each garment and accessory.
