Postgraduate Art Auction

This year the annual auction will see the walls of the gallery filled with donations from acclaimed artists, as well as artworks fresh from the studios of our current students and recent graduates.

Postgraduate Art Auction 2019: Thursday 14 November

Silent auction and viewing: 5.30–8.15pm
Live auction: 6.45–7.45pm

The funds raised from the annual Auction are of enormous value to our Postgraduate Art students. In previous years the proceeds of the Auction have supported the cost of hiring an external venue for the interim exhibition. They have also contributed to students’ final degree show installation and catalogue, and a critics’ feedback session that has become a regular event at the end of the year.

"It is impossible to adequately acknowledge the generosity of the artists in our annual postgraduate auction. It is such an extraordinary gesture, to gift your artwork in the service of others and in the best interests of a future generation." Paul Haywood, Dean of Academic Programmes, Central Saint Martins

This year's lots include donations from Shezad Dawood, Antony Gormley, Mona Hatoum, Cathy Lomax, Cathy de Monchaux, Paula Rego, Raqib Shaw, John Stezaker, Nicole Wassall and many others.
