LCC Accelerate | Creative business incubator programme

Do you want to develop and launch your own creative enterprise?

LCC Accelerate is a fully funded creative business incubator programme, designed to help recent graduates take their creative business ideas to the next level.

Supported by experienced professionals, expert advisors, and successful industry entrepreneurs, this programme will enable you to accelerate your ideas and enhance your expertise as a creative entrepreneur.

About the programme

This 12-week programme is tailored for LCC graduates who have completed their degree within the past three years and are eager to define their own success, solve real-world problems, and make a positive impact on society.

What will you learn?

Throughout the programme, you’ll gain valuable skills and knowledge, including how to:

  • Build and launch new business ideas
  • Familiarise yourself with essential start-up tools and frameworks
  • Create a viable product or service, financial plan, and distinctive brand
  • Build a professional network
  • Master marketing and sales strategies
  • Pitch to potential investors
  • Use your business to address real-world challenges
  • Articulate your vision for your enterprise

What to expect

The programme offers:

  • A safe environment to develop your business idea
  • Expert talks from successful creative entrepreneurs
  • Practical workshops and group exercises
  • Individual expert mentoring to guide your progress
  • Pitching practice sessions
  • Opportunities for peer support and professional networking

Time commitment

You’ll need to dedicate approximately 7 hours per week to complete all programme activities.

Who should apply?

This programme is designed for creative graduates who completed their undergraduate or postgraduate courses at LCC within the last three years. You should be passionate about defining your own success, solving real-world problems, and making a positive societal impact.

We encourage applications from individuals who identify with one or more of the following groups:

  • People who are Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic (B.A.M.E), or from other groups that experience racism
  • Individuals who are deaf, disabled, neurodiverse, or affected by ableism
  • Those from economically marginalised communities or living in poverty
  • Members of the LGBTQIA+ community
  • Women, non-binary individuals, and those of other marginalised genders
  • Individuals who are care leavers or caregivers

Open: 9.30am Monday 15 December 2024
Close: 5pm Monday 27 January 2025

Selection panel and interviews:

Wednesday 12 February 2025

Shortlisted applicants will go through a video interview lasting 30 minutes.

Programme dates:

Wednesday 26  February - Wednesday 22 May 2025 with the final showcasing event taking place on the 4 June.
