A free programme of diverse design happenings in Elephant Park.
In partnership with London Design Festival and Elephant Park, London College of Communication, UAL, celebrates Southwark South Design District: a diverse design destination encompassing one of the most vibrant and creative communities in London.
Exploring the theme of ‘Demystifying Design’, our free programme of design happenings features a series of talks and workshops that aim to make design and creativity accessible to all.
Throughout London Design Festival, The Tree House at the heart of Elephant Park will host events ranging from upcycling sewing workshops to virtual reality learning. Audiences will also be invited to embark on research trails to explore their surroundings through approaches such as drawing and augmented reality – discovering how design skills can connect community, culture and education.
