At London College of Communication, you will have access to a range of resources, studios and workspaces that support Sound Arts and Music Production practices.
An acoustically isolated space featuring calibrated 7.1.4 Genelec monitoring for Dolby Atmos and Ambisonic mixing.
There is a range of analogue and digital outboard equipment for creative sound design and processing. It also serves as a control room for the Performance Lab and Foley Studio when recording.
The Foley Studio is a sound-proofed space for recording purposes and features custom built Foley traps as well as tie lines to the Composition Studio. We have an array of props adjacent to the studio for foley recording.
The Small Sound Room is our secondary teaching space and 5.1 Surround Mixing Facility.

The Large Sound Room is a primary teaching room and primary Mac Lab, with 24 fully equipment digital audio workstations and synthesis workbench. The studio is an open workspace for students, whilst also being used for teaching delivery.
A workstation within the Large Sound Room, containing an array of hardware synthesisers, which can be MIDI controlled via a mio interface and tracked using the mixer/interface and Mac Pro.

These are the two analogue/digital traditional style music recording studios on the campus.
Each studio has a dedicated control room and live room which are fully sound proofed for accurate sonic performance and reproduction.
Each control room is centred around an Audient Heritage 36 Channel analogue mixing desk with ProTools Ultimate.
This is our 7.1 surround mixing room and electronic music production studio.
Centred around an AVID S4 digital control console, this room allows for creative practice in audio post, surround mixing as well as a creative space for electronic music composition using a wide selection of synthesisers and other electronic instrumentation.
