Upgrade Your Future Path

Are you looking to shape your career in the creative industries?

Designed for current LCC students and recent graduates, ‘Upgrade Your Future Path’ offers a range of opportunities to connect with industry professionals, receive invaluable advice, and explore your future career options.

What do we offer?

The programme provides support through three key activities:

Industry Mentoring (online/in-person)

You’ll be paired with a dedicated industry mentor working in the design, media, or screen industries. The mentoring journey includes:

  • Mentoring training
  • Attendance at a launch event
  • Regular meetings with your mentor over five months to discuss and explore your career objectives and goals

Mentoring sessions can be conducted in person or online (particularly for those based outside London).

Rapid Review (online)

Participate in 25-minute online session where an industry advisor will review your CV, website, or reel, and discuss career-related questions.

Speed Networking (in-person)

Engage in career-focused discussions with industry professionals through a speed-dating-style networking session. This is a great opportunity to receive advice and sharpen your networking skills.

Who is the programme for?

The programme is open to:

  • Current postgraduate students of LCC
  • Current Year 3 undergraduate students of LCC
  • LCC graduates (undergraduate and postgraduate) within 0-3 years of completing their studies
