Superarts Academy of Performing Arts based in Southwark is a not-for-profit organisation that provides classes in dance and performance for children and young people. Superarts wanted to make themselves known to a wider audience, so they approached the London College of Communication (LCC) to update their online presence by collaborating with LCC’s young and talented students on a new brand identity.
The brief was presented as an option for the final major project for BA (Hons) Graphic and Media Design students. The aim for the students was to craft a proposal for the website and branding redesign with a social media plan and assets. Additionally, they could also pitch ideas for online and print campaigns and merchandise designs. The students were briefed on the background and ethos of Superarts and received guidance from their tutor Siân Cook along with feedback from the client.
Superarts selected Muskaan Sethia’s proposal as the winning design. She delivered website assets, brand guidelines, logo designs, mock-ups for bottles, t-shirts, tote bags and business cards and assets for print and social media.
