Two courses from London College of Communication’s Screen School are now eligible for BAFTA’s scholarships programme.

The BAFTA UK Scholarship Programme is open to British citizens in need of financial assistance to take eligible undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the UK – with MA Screenwriting and MA Documentary Film both eligible.

Each successful BAFTA scholar receives up to £12,000 towards their annual fees, mentoring support from a BAFTA member and free access to BAFTA events around the UK.

The deadline for applications is 11 June and you applications can be made via the BAFTA website. Successful applicants at this stage will go through shortlisting and an interview process before the scholarships are awarded.

As well as help with annual fees and mentoring, recipients of the scholarship will additionally receive a short funded work placement with the Warner Bros. group of companies, access to a Warner Bros. mentor and invitations to a series of industry masterclasses.
