You'll explore film and screen narrative from the cinematic, historic, national, geographic, genre, ethnic and diversity perspective.
On the BA (Hons) Sound Arts course, you’ll explore the many possibilities of sound arts in a well-established and future-facing program of student-centred activity. You’ll cover the diverse ways that sound is used creatively in the contemporary world and you are taught how to apply your creativity to produce original pieces of work in wide range of professional artistic areas.
With a focus on creativity, critical analysis, research and future-thinking, BA (Hons) Advertising will enable you to develop a solid understanding of the advertising and marketing communications industries. You’ll also develop your knowledge of both the practical and theoretical application of professional persuasive communication, and be encouraged to engage critically with practice and evaluation within the digital environment.
The course delivers practical journalism teaching alongside academic study of relevant contextual theories. You will be encouraged to develop your own authentic and individual journalism in your chosen medium, building up a portfolio of your original work..
On BA (Hons) Magazine Journalism and Publishing, you’ll explore multiplatform magazines through a combination of theory and practice. Throughout your degree, you’ll meet other creatives, develop a range of journalism and publishing skills and, of course, make and learn about magazines – a fascinating media sector of cultural, commercial and technological change.
