Chema graduated from BA (Hons) Film Practice at London College of Communication and now works as a Technical Operations Manager in a post-production company called Technicolor.
My main duties are creating workflows to process high end film and television shows as well as supporting Directors of Photography, DIT’s, Colorist and Data managers throughout the postproduction process.
I'm from Spain.
The reputation of LCC and the staff who run the course.
The interaction with all the different departments in the film industry and the hard work needed to succeed.
The screening of our graduation film.
We received a very warm reaction from our peers and staff, which once added to our hard work and sleep depravation for almost 3 months, made the night really emotional and unforgettable.
The commitment to what you want and the energy needed to achieve it is something I learned through my experiences at LCC.
From a technical point of view, we had to research and resource so many things to make our films and the trial and error experience gave me an advantage to join the company I’m working for now.
It was perfect timing when I joined Technicolor as they were switching their infrastructure from 35mm into Digital, which was the medium we used for all of our coursework at LCC.
Inspiring, fun and hard work.
Take it seriously and enjoy it!The freedom you have to express yourself at LCC is something you will always remember in life! Once you leave, the freedom you have with your work might be different depending on how lucky you are. This makes time at University very invaluable and unique, so make the most of it.

Recent projects I've worked on include Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, Ready Player One, The Legend of Tarzan, Trainspotting 2, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.
Difficult question! My main goal was to work alongside a great artist in great productions and travel the world while doing it. So far I’m doing it and therefore I want to continue this journey and see where it takes me.
Passion, empathy and fear.
Editor for Darren Aronofsky.
Hard work, commitment and passion.
Any major train station.
Keep calm and carry on! I’m a step by step type of person so currently making sure my little family and the projects I’m involved in get the best of me.
