Jake Williams is an Associate Lecturer for MA Music Production at London College of Communication.
Jake cut his teeth playing live electronics with the Warp-signed avant-jazz band Red Snapper, as well as creating music and sound design for major TV shows and the occasional well-received techno record.
He currently works as a DJ, producer, researcher and educator with a particular interest in radical creative applications of digital DJ technology, and is completing a practice-based PhD at the University of Birmingham.
Jake regularly performs solo (IKLECTIK, Cafe Oto, New River, Centrale) and with various audio-visual and live art collaborations (Mutek/EM15, Sonar, NIME, Open Out).
