Lynda Doyle is an International Academic Coordinator at London College of Communication. She studied Media Communications in Ireland and moved to London in 1988 to work for SVC Television.
Lynda went on to assist world renowned animator Barry Leith and then joined the BBC as a sound editor, where she worked on documentaries and dramas for many years.
In 1996, Lynda graduated in BA (Hons) Fine Art and Critical Theory from Goldsmiths College. She returned to the film industry in a pre-production capacity, both as an assistant art director and art director.
In 2002, Lynda studied an MA at the Royal College of Art, graduating in Fine Art Photography. During this time she also worked as a freelance photographer and writer for IPC Media, and photographed for The Irish Sunday Independent Magazine (Fashion).
Lynda has worked as an artist and tutor at London College of Communication for the past 15 years, teaching on both foundation and degree courses. She joined the International Academic team in 2015.
Her varied and broad artistic background, across media, film, animation, fine art, photography and fashion, provides an ideal background for this role. She travels, interviews and advises international students for all UAL Colleges and subjects, she also offers creative workshops and seminars overseas.
