Following the publication of his book ‘The Visual History of Type’, LCC Senior Lecturer Paul McNeil has published ‘6 typefaces that changed how we see the world’ for CNN.
Libby Jackson’s ‘A Galaxy of Her Own’, fully illustrated by BA (Hons) Illustration & Visual Media students through an LCC Business & Innovation project, is featured as a ‘perfect book for Christmas’ by Frost Magazine.
Recent MA Illustration & Visual Media graduate Hani Abusamra has been named as one of 10 hottest illustrators of 2017 by Creative Bloq.
A group exhibition “Secular Icons in an Age of Moral Uncertainty” features a small group of distinguished artists at the Parafin gallery and includes works of a London College of Communication alumna, Sara Naim.
Wallpaper presents a digest of visual inspiration throughout 2017 and features the work of Brian Griffin, who recently delivered a talk with Terry Rawlings at London College of Communication. The talk is promoted in the article following Wallpaper’s invite to the talk.
MA Photojournalism & Documentary Photography Course Leader Max Houghton’s recent book, Firecrackers: Female Photographers now, is featured in a best of 2017 round-up on Women Photograph.

Students from BA (Hons) Film Practice were interviewed at LCC by sex vlogger and author Hannah Witton for the BBC on the topic of the representation of safe sex on TV. Audio clips from the interview were broadcast on BBC Radio Five Live and a video was featured on the BBC website and Five Live’s social media platforms.
LCC photography graduate and entrepreneur Joe McKenzie’s pre-owned luxury accessories business Xupes is featured on the Evening Standard and Times.
Art Daily shares some insight on a four-screen installation by renowned Finnish filmmaker and artist Eija-Liisa Ahtila, who studied at LCP. Her work has been included in many international group exhibitions.
