Participants of coLAB, a project that aims to improve the social integration of refugees in the academic environment, reflect on how the project has impacted on their teaching and learning; the experience of integration; and overall understanding of the world.
The project CoLAB, featuring London College of Communication alongside four other universities from across Europe, aims to improve the social integration of refugees in the academic environment by involving refugees as experts and teaching staff in Higher Education Institutions.
The activities were designed to help to dispel some of the myths, stereotypes, and misunderstandings that exist around migration.
Video produced by Mohamed Alaradi, MA Arts and Lifestyle Journalism graduate, and Sophie Williams-Brown.
