Ellen Hanceri is a designer and printmaker who teaches on the BA (Hons) Illustration and Visual Media course at London College of Communication.
Ellen studied at Camberwell College of Arts and The City and Guilds of London Art School, and has sought to combine traditional printmaking processes in her work, including block printing, intaglio and screen printing.
Through print, Ellen explores repeated motif and a variety of surface, designing for ceramic, leather and paper products. Work is produced at her studio in London, and clients include Liberty Art Prints, Osborne and Little, Zoffany and White Stuff.
At LCC she holds two roles – Senior Lecturer on the BA (Hons) Illustration and Visual Media course and Academic Coordinator for Student Enterprise and Employability where she works with staff to open up opportunities for students to collaborate with industry and expand opportunities for their professional futures.
