London College of Communication is supporting the next generation of leading VR businesses through sponsoring the ‘Rising VR Company of the Year' at this year’s VR Awards.
Hosted by AIXR, the VR Awards is an international industry awards ceremony celebrating outstanding achievement in virtual reality.
The Rising VR Company of the Year category aims to celebrate those new businesses creating innovative solutions and driving ambition forward within the virtual rwality industry, – commending small businesses with proven business models is VR startup of the year.

Finalists include: KageNova, Immotion, HOLOGATE, Maze Theory, Fable Studio, Periscape VR, Lume, Enduvo and AtlasV.
Among the judges of VR industry experts is Dr Ana-Despina Tudor, Course Leader for London College of Communication’s MA Virtual Reality.
This is the second year the College has sponsored the awards, with Neurogaming Limited – a business developing ‘multiplayer VR technologies supported by cloud-based location management platform’.
This year’s awards will take place on 11 November at London’s 8 Northumberland Avenue.

Meet Anna Koroleva, a graduate from BA (Hons) Design for Branded Spaces. Anna now works as a 3D Designer on high profile projects for George P. Johnson, the world's premiere experience marketing agency.

To celebrate Elmer the Elephant’s 30th birthday, International students from the ‘Certificate in Higher Education: Preparation for Design Media and Screen’, course at London College of Communication, UAL, created an Elmer elephant in collaboration with the artist, Donna Newman.
